Directions from Raleigh, Durham and Pittsboro
From Durham
If you’re coming from 751:
- Follow to Whitfield Rd. and go until it ends at NC 86 (about 3-4 miles) – (or get on 40W on 15-501 and go 1 exit to 86).
- Turn left onto 86, go over I-40 and take the first right onto Eubanks Rd.
- Go all the way down Eubanks until it ends at Old NC 86, about 4 miles. Turn L onto Old 86.
- Go straight thru 1 light at the Calvander intersection (Homestead, Dairyland and Old 86); we are the 3rd house on the left after Calvander, over a small hill. Our house is an old yellow farmhouse, with a barn in the back. 9118 Old NC 86. If you get to a second light at Hillsborough Rd, you went too far.
From Raleigh
If you’re coming from I-40 W and take the exit for 54W that says Chapel Hill:
- From the 54 W exit off I 40, follow the exit and bear right onto 54 W. Go about 2 miles, past Meadowmont subdivision on your right, and down the hill through the Glen Lennox shopping center (Harris Teeter on your left). Go under the overpass and take an immediate right onto the ramp for highway, 15/501S and 54W.
- Get onto the highway, and stay on it for about 4 miles. You will pass the exit for 15/501S and stay on the highway, which becomes just 54W. Go past several Carrboro exits and you will come to the Carrboro Plaza on your left, where there is a Food Lion and an ABC store. Continue on 54W and thru the lights there, and go up the hill. At the light at the top of the hill, turn right onto Old Fayetteville Rd.
- Go straight on Old Fayetteville through the 1st light and pass the Sunset Creek subdivision on your right. We are the next house on the right, 9118 Old NC 86. We are an old yellow farmhouse, with a barn in the back and magnolias in front. If you get to a second light at the intersection of Dairyland and Homestead, you went too far.
If you’re coming from I-40 W and take the exit for 86 (2 exits later) that also says Chapel Hill:
- Exit to your right and turn left at the light toward Chapel Hill. Go over the highway, and take your first light onto Eubanks road. This is immediately after the exit ramps for I-40E.
- Go about 4 miles to the end of Eubanks road. Turn left onto Old 86.
- Go straight for about 2.5 miles, thru 1 light at the Calvander intersection (Homestead, Dairyland and Old 86); we are the 3rd house on the left after Calvander, over a small hill. Our house is an old yellow farmhouse, with a barn in the back. 9118 Old NC 86. If you get to a second light at Hillsborough Rd, you went too far.
From Pittsboro
If you’re coming from Chapel Hill on 15-501N:
- Close to Chapel Hill, you will pass Southern Village, a large housing development on your left, with lights at the 2 entrances. Go straight thru those lights and down the hill. You will come to a series of lights at the intersection of 54 and 15-501. Go thru 2 lights, going over the overpass, and turn left at the third light to get onto the highway going west. (If you missed this turn, you would head up into the UNC campus.)
